Ah Rust, my favorite programming language! Yes, even more than Haskell now, as times have changed. Rust combines my previous love of Haskell with my love of low-level high-performance programming---it’s a C++ with better types!
In fact, I’d claim that Rust is a better C++ than C++---and I’ve written many posts to that effect! I also like that, along with other popular languages of its era, it’s gradually eating through the notion that OOP was a good, intuitive idea, because, well, Rust Is Beyond Object-Oriented, as I’ve written another series about!
